How do you avoid ingrown hairs after a bikini waxing?

I use Tea-tree Oil or Tea-tree Lotion immedately after bikini waxing. It could be several things that cause ingrown hairs, one being your hair isn't long enough for the wax to grab onto and, two , the hair is too long which causes the hair to break off rather than pulled out. Also, if your hair is extremely coarse it could make it difficult to remove and end up breaking off instead. When your hair is removed, it leaves open pores which later gets clogged by comedones (technical term for blackheads)

and prevents your hair from growing out. There really isn't a way to avoid ingrown hairs, dear. Good Luck

Steam can help prevent ingrown hairs because it opens your pores up. Also try buying some Bikini zone you can get it from Walmart, Target or Rite-Aid. I've also heard that taking a ibuprophen 30 mins before can help but never take asprin cause you'll bleed pretty bad.
