These bumps on my legs with hair curled inside it?

Okay, so I think these are ingrown hairs, but I'm not sure. Has anyone had this problem before, and how do you get rid of them, besides waxing?

Yes, they are ingrown hairs. Waxing will not get rid of them, since the hair is still under the skin. Any hair removal method (shaving, depilatory creams, waxing) can make ingrown hairs more likely, but they can happen all by themselves too. Just another annoying fact of life!

Be careful treating ingrowns if you have sensitive skin - using exfoliants like scrubs or hydroxy acids can make your skin more irritated. Personally, I like to use Neutrogena pimple treatment pads (I think they're called Rapid Clear) that have salicylic acid in them. If you have sensitive skin I'd recommend a gentle (orange) Buf-Puf pad used with an antibacterial cleanser.

Well I recently got ingrown hairs too, and I think I got them when I started waxing, I've heard that exfoliating will help, as well as pulling them out with a needle but most likely if you pull them out with tweezers or needles, it'll get infected.

Yes, those are ingrown hairs, sometimes they come out on their own, sometimes they make little zits that you can rupture and the hair comes out, if they are really bad, you may need to have a dermatologist take them out. I've heard rubbing deodorant stick on your skin after shaving prevents them, but I haven't tried it. If I were you I'd go see a derm. and he/she will be able to tell you why YOU get them, and then you can take appropriate action. There are some products on the market that claim to help with this...but I haven't tried any myself. Perhaps some people will get on here and recommend over the counter products to you if you haven't got money for a skin dr

It楹搒 ingrown hairs. Exfoliate and resist the urge to use a needle! You can end up with a scar if you don楹搕 know how to use it properly. Or an infected hair follicle.
