How to stop ingrown hairs!!!!!!!!!!?

How to stop ingrown hairs!!!!!!!!!!?

depends upon where the ingrown hairs are at. If it is just your legs or pits you need a better/sharper razor and lots of soap. If it is the crotch area than you still need the sharp razor but those hairs are so stiff that they do that. The thing that I do is get the Nair stuff put it on then wait just one min or two and the it softens the hair up enough to shave it successfully. Also the other thing you can do for any area is not shave as frequently, let the hairs get a little longer.

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. Use a loofah sponge, or shower gloves or a body scrub. There is also a professional product called No Bump, your hair stylist can get it for you, it will help if you are getting in grown hairs from shaving. You can also try Neutrogena body wash with salicylic acid. It may help unclog your pores.

There is a product called NAIR Ingrown Hair Solution and it really works! When I get my waxing done they remove my stubborn hair with tweezers and that causes ingrown hairs and I used that and it works

Probably my biggest beauty dillema of all time. My legs were so bad I never showed them, but after doing this, I rarely get them. How are you getting rid of the hair? I would recommend to stop shaving and either start waxing or epilady-ing because then they won't grow back as fast. It will hurt but after a few times you'll get used to it. If you go for waxing, you can get it done cheap at a beauty school for around 10 or 15 bucks. If you get an epilady, Braun makes the best ones. Exfoliate in the shower twice a week, I like the St. Ives medicated facial scrub because it is cheap and has salicylic acid which is an ingrown's worse enemy. Before hair removal, use a cotton pad to rub astringent, the facial kind with glycolic or salicylic acid, on the area. It will disolve dead skin and kill the germs that make ingrown hairs red and infected. After hair removal, slather on a lotion that has benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid for the same reason. Lastly, keep your skin soft and hydrated; use baby oil or a good lotion after every shower because ingrowns occur when growing hair gets trapped under dry, dead skin. Make this part of your normal beauty routine and I promise you'll get way less ingrowns.

Tend Skin is a great product but it is expensive.

Almond Oil rubbed on after shaving helps and also smells nice. I use it mostly around my bikini line.
