Vaginal...lump?

i know this may be a bit gross, but a few months ago i got this lump on the outer right side of my vagina(where the pubic hairs are) when i first got it it hurt and it resulted to have puss, so i kinda popped it and the puss came out. the lump then went away and a few weeks later came back without pain or anything, and the thing is it isn't viewable (so it can't be a pimple or ingrown hair), meaning that i can't see it i can just feel a lump under my skin, know i have had it for like 2 months already and it does not hurt at all it just hurts and feels uncomfortable when i get my period a few days during my period (mostly at the end of the cycle) the pain goes away but the lump is still there. I am sexually active but i only have one partner, we do not use protection because of the fact that i am on a birth control method. what can this lump be??

Well you could be allergic to that type of birth control, you may want to check it out with a doctor.

It could be a cyst, I had one of these, pretty much just like you described.

Please whatever you do, dont pop it, as it can make the puss and other infectious stuff travel into your blood stream

They are so very common, and i think every woman gets one from time to time in their life, best thing to do would be to head to your doctors, dont be embaressed, its very common, and they can prescribe antibiotics or give you further advice on it.

You can get pimples anywhere on your body, not just your face, you can get them anywhere, even near your vagina!, it might just be a pimple, just wash the area for a few weeks really good and use a little tiny bit of acne/pimple cream just where the sore(s) is, and if it goes away its probably just a zit.

As long as you have skin you can always form a pimple! you can get oily anywhere and a breakout can happen.

If it doesnt go away in a few more months and it comes back the same spot or something i advise you to see a doctor.

It sounds like a boil to me, i get that too sometimes its a big oversized pimple filled with puss and blood when it pops, it happens mainly because you eat bad, or you don't drink enough water. Try buying some boil ease and take a bath in epsom salt, it works for me all the time, drink lots of water to flush your system out. Good luck!! ;)
