but then they grow back worse than ever. Pulling them is a tear jerker and can cause ingrown hairs. I have no experience with Nair, because I am a man, but is it safe to use on mucous membrane like the inside of my nose?

No...DON'T USE NAIR on your nose hairs. It's pretty potent-I'm not sure about the specifics, but you'd probably end up in the hospital. Try trimming them with scissors.

Inhale a lit match. The hair burns in a whoosh all the way up inside your head. Happens fast. Of course you have to do it twice. The smell is ghastly but only lasts maybe a day or so.

Do not use Nair on your nose. That stuff contains lye. I just use one of those little battery powered ones and seems to do just fine. I would never let anybody see me doing it though. You have to really angle it and move it around.

Also make sure you blow your nose really well after you use it.

Dont out nair in your nose it will BURN. And like every where else once you shave it you'll always have to because it grows back thicker everytime. just use sissors.

Here is what i taught my hubby and sons to do:

Hold the end of your nose back,(like your doing the "piggy nose" thingy you did as a child,

use small, sharp scissors, and clip them very short.

Then they don't show, like your a Papua New Guinea bushman, and they won't tickle you or be offensive.

By the way, the photo for your profile is a tad scary, as bobcatchick stated. the album piccy is much nicer.
