Should i wax or should i use nair the bikini creme. I can decide because i heard that if you wax you get ingrown hairs. help me please!!!

Nair may irritate your bikini area and shaving will produce short lasting results and can be pretty painful.

Waxing is your best option with the best results. For the first time go to a professional so you can get a basic understanding of how it works. But after that you can do it yourself (that's what I did). Unlike what most people say, it's not even painful, especially after you get used to it. And the results are great. Say goodbye to bikini hair for up to 3 weeks. After waxing for a while the bikini hairs appear less frequently and you will see that the hair becomes thinner and less of it comes back. I have been waxing myself for a year now and I definately recomend it.

Hair DOWN THERE? are you serious? i dont think you should. Your hair protects your.......um..........down there. If you shave it, it'll look like your leg hair.

I use a razor and cream. Just be careful not to go against the grain because that's when those God-awful bumps pop up. If you want a perfect job, go get a bikini/brazilian wax from a professional.

Okay. Waxing hurts, but your hair won't grow back, until a month. Nair works, but it has the same effect of shaving.

Nair has never worked for me - when I wax I don't get the ingrown hairs. There are also some cream you can buy to help with shaving so that you don't get razor burn - which can be very common when shaving. THe one I buy when I shave is from slumberparties.com. Great stuff. But waxing does last a lot longer with only a few minutes of the pain! Good Luck.

I wax and don't have any ingrown hairs but I have heard of people get those also Nair might burn a little and thats no good if you have sensitive skin.....But waxing hurts

some hair removers work..but others dont..umm..waxing can be painfull and yess u can get ingrown hairs..you could also shave ..but use shaving cream!!

i dunno but whatever u do DONT SHAVE! it invites bacteria and ull prolly get razor burn...good luck. :D

Personally I prefer waxing it's a little painful but I haven't had a problem with ingrown hairs waxing.. To me the nair doesn't work as well.. You can get ingrown hairs with nair as well..

If you wax you may end up with ingrown hairs! Which are painful and annoying. But i am not sure if the Nair bikini creme will actually work. It depends on how coarse your hair is down there.

But, i would try the Nair creme first, then if that doesn't help, maybe shave.

If you shave with Coochy shave cream it will he so smooth and soft, and you will never get ingrown hairs.

I think it's best to go out and get a wax. Despite the awkwardness, it's well worth it. The hair grows back finer and over time, if you continue to get waxes, the hair doesnt grow back. If you're concerned about ingrown hairs, exfoliate. It takes off the dead skin, which causes ingrown hairs to form. If that doesnt take your mind off of it, there are creams and lotions available at the waxing salon that take care of them.

If I were you I would use the creme because it is easier , cheaper, painless, and self applied. Not to mention, if you don't watch the person at the salon that is doing your wax, you could end up with something besides just a bikini wax. Some salons use the same sick and same wax on everyone, which can spread a number of infectious bacteria. Just be careful if you do get waxed. If you do decide to go with the waxing, I would suggest that you buy the kit and do it yourself. Hope this helps.
